Welcome

How to use the webcast portal

This portal forms part of a range of services used to promote e-democracy in Bolton. Many residents are interested in local democracy and the issues that affect them but are unable to attend meetings; webcasting is one of a number of online tools that enable them to connect to the council, to learn what is happening in their area and participate in the decision making process.

Forthcoming and most recent webcasts are displayed on the right, older webcasts can be found in the Webcast library.  Please note all our webcasts will be archived within two working days of the webcast and will be available on demand for 12 months.

Don’t forget extra features may be available when watching, check out details such as slides, resources and speaker profiles.

If you’re watching an archived webcast, use the links in the timeline to jump to a specific agenda item or speaker.

You can find agendas for the council meetings on our Meetings page and details about councillors on our People page.

See the Help page for information on what you will need to be able to watch online and for troubleshooting technical problems.
